Hey y'all! My name is Brittany Hines and I am one of the founders of Women Hunters of North Carolina. WHNC was founded in 2016 by myself and Brittany Lowery when we were in a few other NC hunting groups and found that, well, men just don't give the same constructive feedback as other women. So in that moment, WHNC was born. Fast foward to 2020, and we are over 500 members. In 2019, we had our first WHNC get together and got to know some faces that we've "seen" on facebook and we've been doing an annual get together ever since! I, for one, love the fact that we can watch other women do what they love and cheer them on without fear of being criticized or any off remarks.
So a little about me! I was raised in Florida in a town called Sarasota. AVID Gators Fan (ORANGE AND BLUE y'all! CHOMP CHOMP). I met my husband, Josh, on AOL in 2001 and we quickly became best friends. I got married in 2002 to another man, had my wonderful son, William in 2004.
His father and I divorced in 2005 but my best friend was still there for me. In December 2005, Josh and I started a relationship and in September of 2006 we were married.
Fast forward, October 2007, Conor was born and July 2009, Brendan was born. Yep, I'm a boy mom.
I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner as of 2019, and moonlight in the Immediate Care on evenings and weekends. I've been a RN since 2012. My experience is in ICU-stepdowns, Emergency medicine and now outpatient since 2015. I'm currently a Nursing Supervisor at a multi specialty clinic in eastern North Carolina.
There's so much to me but above is the most IMPORTANT things in my life! I hope you've enjoyed G2KM!
