Hi ! I’m Emily Wells. I have been in NC since I was 3 months old and love all the different regions it has to offer. I grew up on the Outer Banks, went to college in Wilmington, moved to little Washington and now live in Raleigh with my husband and two daughters.

I have always been interested in hunting and fishing and being outdoors, but didn’t begin hunting on my own until college. It was hard to find many women who shared that interest, so I had a lot of guy friends and family members who taught me the basics. I mainly hunt deer, with some turkey hunting thrown in there at our cabin in Oxford. I am always getting our girls outside and teaching them about hunting and nature skills because I feel it is so important to get girls outside at a young age.
